Three townships already under MVFD umbrella

MOUNT VERNON — As the city of Mount Vernon talks with Monroe and College townships about the feasibility of providing fire protection and emergency medical service, both sides can look at agreements already in place as a model for how it would work. The city has contracts to provide fire protection and EMS service for Clinton and Pleasant townships and for the southern half of Morris Township.
