MOUNT VERNON -- About 45 people showed up for the Exchange Club’s annual Flag Day ceremony on Public Square, Friday evening.

MOUNT VERNON -- After more than a year of sporadic negotiations, Knox Community Hospital, on behalf of its hospital-employed physicians, and Anthem-Blue Cross Blue Shield announced Friday they have reached an agreement which means KCH remains in the Anthem network and the doctors are back in the Anthem network.

Report of babies born at hospitals other than Knox Community Hospital must be submitted in writing. Include parents’ names, address, age, baby’s sex, and date and place of birth. If either parent is under the age of 18, the signature of a parent or guardian is necessary for each of the baby’s underage parents.
