  • The Exchange Club and the Kiwanis Club donated  $14,347 to the city of Mount Vernon for use in Ariel-Foundation Park. Cindy Higgs, left, Kiwanis Club, and Terry Scott, Exchange Club, presented the check to the city during Monday’s City Council meeting. The funds are the result of two Foundation Park Fun Day events sponsored by the clubs. The two groups have requested the money be used to add more shelters throughout the park. style=
