HOWARD — Apple Valley and Howard area residents once again have a convenient location to enjoy a good meal and relax in a friendly atmosphere and maybe enjoy some entertainment as well. A grand opening took place July 9 at Bad Apple Pub, formerly Pub 36, 22011 Coshocton Road. Partners Steve McCurdy and Jeff Boucher opened the family-friendly restaurant and pub to add to their other business ventures of Flappers Bar & Grill and Parkside Restaurant.
Bad Apple Pub features a full menu with some old flavors and exciting new products featuring one-half pound burgers, whole wings and their signature item, the Bad Apple Pork Sandwich. Up to 250 guests can be seated between the inside restaurant, bar and outdoor patio. Live entertainment is scheduled on the weekends; and McCurdy said that business was very good throughout their first week of business.
Hours for Bad Apple Pub are from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. Monday through Saturday. Sunday hours are planned to be added in the future. The kitchen is open until 10 p.m. each business day. Bad Apple Pub can be reached by calling 392-3326.
