MOUNT VERNON — “Health and Fitness — and How to Achieve Both” is the topic for the Brown Bag Chat on Wednesday at noon at the Public Library of Mount Vernon and Knox County, 201 N. Mulberry St.

Matt Maley, owner and wellness coach for Fitness for a Change, 9 E. High St., Mount Vernon, a personal fitness and wellness company, will lead the program.

Among other topics, Maley will attempt to clear up the diet controversy, and indicate what and how to actually eat for health. He will show how to incorporate those eating habits into each person’s lifestyle, and he will demonstrate why working out plays such a pivotal role in this lifestyle decision.

The Brown Bag Chats, sponsored by the Adult Services Department of the public library, are free and open to the public. Participants are invited to bring a bag lunch; beverages will be provided.

For more information call 392-2665, ext. 230.
