MOUNT VERNON — The Knox County Retired Teachers Association luncheon will be Tuesday, Feb. 1, at The Dan Emmett Conference Center. Registration will start at 11:30 a.m. and the luncheon will begin at noon.
The menu will include roasted chicken breast with Chardonnay cream sauce, garlic roasted red potatoes, vegetable of the day, garden salad, rolls and beverage.
The program will be Matt Levering, Hospice marketing manager, who will speak on purposes and benefits of the hospice program.
Retired and active educators, spouses and guests are welcome and urged to attend regardless of where they taught. Those who have not been notified a few days ahead can call Wilma McDougle at 393-0003 for reservations.
Final reservations must be in by Friday before the luncheon.
Those who cannot come to the luncheon are asked to cancel their reservations to prevent being charged.
