MOUNT VERNON — The Heritage Centre Association’s annual membership meeting will be Thursday, beginning with hors d’ouevres at 5:30 p.m. at Henry’s Copper Curry Restaurant on Public Square. The business portion will start at 6 p.m. Members will discuss HCA accomplishments for 2010, plans for 2011 and approve the slate for new board members.

Members are urged to attend. Anyone interested in learning about becoming a member and supporting downtown Mount Vernon, can find out more information about the organization at the website www.VisitDowntownMountVernon.com. Membership applications will be available the night of this meeting, so interested individuals are invited to attend. After the meeting, Henry’s will be offering dinner specials.

The Heritage Centre Association is an Ohio Main Street Program with the commitment to create and enhance the economic, historic, and social development of the Mount Vernon’s Central Business District making it a preferred choice for shopping, entertainment, dining, culture and tourism in Ohio. Opportunities are available for involvement at many levels.
