MOUNT VERNON — The Alcove’s next dinner theater is the perfect way to chase away the winter blues. Bruce Jacklin and Company presents the comedy “No Sex Please, We’re British!” This British farce, written by Anthony Marriott and Alistair Foot, is for the naughty, but nice. It runs at the Alcove Dinner Theater from Feb. 4 to Feb. 26.
Newlyweds, Peter and Frances Hunter have more than the usual mother-in-law and financial problems. Their lives are complicated by a surprising delivery from the “Scandinavian Glassware Company” that turns out to be a lot more provocative than glassware. From that moment on, life becomes increasingly crazy as they attempt to return the package, avoid prison and put a stop to any further delivery of “glassware.”
Cast members include Chris Johnson, Kate Redfield, Susan Moreland, Richard McKinley, Ian Ernsberger, Jim Miller, Jackie Hatch-Miller and Jennifer Walters. The production/design team for the production includes: Bruce Jacklin, producer; Ian Ernsberger, director; Dan Fox, Dan Bockover and Rick Ernsberger, scenic construction; Chris Aust, costume designer; Scott Swingle, lighting operator; Carrie Crouch, program design; and Bonnie Pickett, stage manager.
