MOUNT VERNON — The Knox County 912 Project will meet today at 7 p.m. in Room 28 of the Adult Education Building behind the Knox County Career Center.
This is an opportunity for people to learn what the responsibilities are for some local government positions. Presentations will be given by Knox County Commissioner Teresa Bemiller, Mount Vernon City Councilman Jay Maners, Pike Township Trustee Roy Tuggle and Middlebury Township Fiscal Officer Betty Weller. After their presentations there will be time for questions.
This event is sponsored by the Knox County 912 Project to educate people on activities in local government. Knox County 912 Project is a nonpartisan, conservative action group.
