MOUNT VERNON — The Showin’ & Towin’ Annual Spaghetti Dinner & Silent Auction is set for Saturday, March 26, beginning at 4:30 p.m. at the First Church of the Nazarene Church, 807 Coshocton Ave., Mount Vernon. The public is asked to use the Family Life Center entrance. The event is sponsored by the Stowin’ & Showin’ 4-H Club. The dinner is from 5 to 7 p.m., with the silent auction from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Those who bring a donation will get their dinner free.
Some of the already donated items for the silent auction are: Dean’s Jewelers, Reds Western Palace Gift Cards, gas gift cards, Pizza Oven, bowling for two at Trio Lanes, one-night at the Holiday Inn Express, Angel Haven Bed and Breakfast, die-cast cars, Harley-Davidson Collector Items, Fredericktown Veterinarian Clinic, 25 bales of hay, ferrier services, saddles and other miscellaneous horse supplies, Field of Dreamz Farm, riding lessons and breeding, Beal Quarter Horse riding lessons, six weeks of dance lessons or gymnastic lessons.
There will be a 50/50 Frisbee toss, which is the improved and fun spin on the old 50/50 raffle.
