MOUNT VERNON — The Knox County Retired Teachers Association luncheon will be Tuesday, April 5, at The Dan Emmett Conference Center in Mount Vernon. Registration will begin at 11:30 a.m. and the luncheon is at noon.
The menu will include roast chicken breast with Chardonnay cream sauce, garlic roasted red potatoes, vegetable, salad, rolls and beverage.
The program will be Matt Levering, hospice marketing manager, who will speak about the purposes and benefits of the hospice program. He will also show a video.
In the spotlight will be members “I can’t believe I did that.”
Retired and active educators, spouses and guests are welcome and urged to attend regardless of where they taught. Those who have not been notified a few days ahead can call Wilma McDougle at 393-0003 for reservations. Final reservations must be in by the Friday before the luncheon.
Those unable to attend are asked to cancel their reservation to prevent being charged.
