MOUNT VERNON — Good balance is essential to control and maintain the body’s position and helps people carry out daily chores and activities and remain independent. Many people experience problems with their sense of balance as they age.
Wellness to Go is a convenient, lunchtime health lecture on topics of interest to the community. The next lecture, “Improve Your Balance” is on Thursday from noon to 1 p.m. at the Center for Rehabilitation and Wellness, 1375 Yauger Road. Presenter Nancy Brue, PT, shares information on what individuals can do to improve their balance and lessen the risk of falls.
