UTICA The Utica Historical Society invites the public to join as the village continues to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Civil War and the importance of the local and neighboring area during this era of American History.

Leonidas Inscho, a Civil War Medal of Honor recipient from the Chatam area, will be featured along with three others from Licking County. Speaker Vince Becker will talk about these Union soldiers and will have the Inscho Medal of Honor on display.

Becker is a Utica graduate, U.S. Air Force veteran, chairman for the Society of the Civil War Families of Licking County, member of the Licking County Genealogy Society, trustee of Licking County Historical Society, and involved in the veterans community.

The event will be at the carriage house, behind the Hufford House Museum, 45 N. Main St., Utica, on Monday, April 25, at 7:30 p.m. For questions or information, call 740-892-3789.
