HOMER — An informational meeting on the Licking County Sheriff’s Office Community Block Watch Program is set for May 4 at 6:30 p.m. in the Homer Public Library conference room. The library is at 385 South Street NW in Homer.
People living or working in the rural communities around northern Licking County (such as Burlington Township, Bennington Township and Miller Township in Knox County) are invited to attend. Assemble as early as 6:30 p.m. to meet other concerned members of the community. Beginning at 7 p.m., Licking County Sheriff’s Deputy N. Pease will conduct a one-hour presentation about the Community Block Watch Program. He will provide useful information about crime prevention methods and up-to-date information on trends in our area and in Licking County.
