MOUNT VERNON — Knox Choraliers will present its spring concert Saturday at 7 p.m. in the Parish House of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 100 E. High St. The Choraliers will perform works of Purcell, Praetorius and Petker, as well as folk song literature and a spiritual. The students will sing in Latin and Hebrew as well as English.
The Choraliers’ Ensemble will perform two ballets by Thomas Morely and a piece by the prolific Baroque composer Georg Phillip Telemann. Members of the ensemble are students that have been in Choraliers, usually for at least a year, and have shown excellent skill development.
Also featured will be soloists Brianna Coventry-Smith, William Hartman, Christopher Hartman, Jordan Shremshock and Rachael Aust.
The Choraliers are directed by Diane Dingler with Christa Hammond accompanying at the piano.
All are welcome to attend the program which is free of charge.
