MOUNT VERNON — “Travel the World to Scuba and Snorkel” is the program for the Brown Bag Chat on Wednesday at the Public Library of Mount Vernon and Knox County, 201 N. Mulberry St., beginning at noon.

This is the third in the Adult Summer Reading Program’s “Novel Destinations” series, and will feature Roy Glaser showing some of the unexpected underwater beauties around the world.

Roy and his wife, Toni, have been residents of Mount Vernon for nearly 13 years. Before moving here, they traveled the country as Roy did contract engineering work for various companies.

An avid underwater explorer, Roy will illustrate his presentation with pictures of many of the treasures he has found in exotic places.

In keeping with the theme of the program, the refreshments will be fitting for a beach party.

The program is free and open to the public. For information call 392-2665, ext. 230.
