DANVILLE -- Post 650 of the American Legion at Danville and the Danville American Legion Auxiliary will sponsor their monthly fish fry at an earlier date --Saturday. Serving will begin at 5 and extend until 7 p.m., or earlier if the fish sells out.
The menu this month, in addition to deep-fried fish fillets, will include side dishes and french fries, as well as hot and cold beverages. Desserts such as cakes and/or pies will be available. “All-you-can-eat” applies only to the fish (not to the side dishes nor desserts).
The dinner will be held at the Legion Home, up hill from Danville’s Memorial Park. There is a cost per meal. This dinner includes the annual “member dinner.” Members of Post 650 (paid up for 2011 and/or 2012) and a spouse or one guest will eat free. Take-out orders are available.
