MOUNT VERNON — There will be plenty of “pickin’ and a’grinnin’” when the Ohio Order of the Eastern Star, District 12, hosts a variety show called the Starshine Moonshine Revue at the OES Home’s Gallagher Centre, 1451 Gambier Road.
Performances will be on Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m.; and Sunday at 3 p.m. Children under 12 are admitted free with an adult ticket purchase. District 12 Charities Director Maria Lavengood promises a lot of fun and hilarity as many talented OES members perform jokes, skits, and songs. The production is directed by her husband, Pg, the founder of the Loudonville Players Community Theatre.
Tickets are on sale from any cast or crew member and will also be sold at the door on the dates of performances. For more information call 419-651-6810 or 740-485-1638 and leave a message.
All proceeds will benefit the Ohio OES charities, which include Heart and Cancer, Dyslexia Learning Centers, OES Home, ESTARL, and Masonic Youth Organizations.
