HOMER — Beginning Computer Class — The Homer Public Library will be conducting a “Computers for Beginners” class.
There will be three sessions: Jan. 11, Jan. 18 and Jan. 25. Sessions will be from 1 to 3 p.m. in the Homer Public Library meeting room.
The sessions are:
Jan. 11 — Beginning Computer Skills — This session will introduce participants to basic computer operations such as use of a mouse, start-up and shut-down, terminology, etc.
Jan. 18 — Using the Internet — This session will show participants basic Internet usage skills. It will cover searching techniques, navigation, entering URLs and other skills.
Jan. 25 — Email — Participants will set up and learn to use an email account.
