MOUNT VERNON — This year, the Knox County Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 147 will host a concert featuring “Slowhand,” a tribute to Eric Clapton.
“Slowhand,” the ultimate Eric Clapton tribute act, presents a live “Eric Clapton” show complete with the music, the look and guitars. “Slowhand” is one of the few Eric Clapton tributes in the world, and the No. 1 Eric Clapton tribute in the United States.
This show will be Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Memorial Theater on East High Street.
“Slowhand” has been performing the timeless music of Clapton’s solo career, along with the mega-hit songs of Cream, Blind Faith and Derek & the Dominoes.
From the look, the specially painted guitars, to the entertaining song selection, every detail is covered in this family-friendly show.
For ticket information or event information call 740-397-8107.
In conjunction with the concert, the lodge will be distributing a safety and security book featuring a business and buyer’s guide that will acknowledge all businesses and organizations that assisted in the support of the Fraternal Order of Police.
