MOUNT VERNON — Do you know the people who are vying for your vote in the upcoming primary? Who do you want to hire to work for you? Knox County residents have an opportunity to see, hear, and ask questions of the candidates for two important positions, the county commissioner and 68th District state representative.
On Thursday, Feb. 9, beginning at 7 p.m., the Knox County 912 Patriot Group will host a Meet the Candidates Night for the two primary races.
Organizers confirmed Bob Gibbs, U.S. Representative for the 18th District, will be in attendance. The event is being held at Knox County Career Center, Adult Education Building, Room 28, 306 Martinsburg Road. Doors open at 6:30 and meeting starts at 7 p.m. for this nonpartisan, free event.
