HOWARD — The Knox County chapter of Pheasants Forever, a non-profit group for the habitat for wildlife conservation awareness, held its annual charity dinner auction at the Floral Valley Community Center on Saturday.
Nearly 150 people attended the event, which included a live auction as well as a silent auction, plus raffles for various prizes from duck calls to conceal-carry classes.
The total amount raised was not determined.
Part of the purpose of the event was to raise awareness of the fourth annual Knox County Youth Field Day, which will take place Saturday, April 21. Kids can take part in multiple events including first aid, fly tying, fishing, face painting and birdhouse building.
