MOUNT VERNON — DivorceCare is a 13-week seminar/recovery group for separated or divorced men and women. The spring 2012 series begins February 28 and ends May 22. Groups meet each Tuesday evening from 7 to 8:30 at the Mount Vernon First Presbyterian Church in room 104. Registration and child care (by reservation) are free. A monetary deposit on the workbook will be refunded at the conclusion of the course.
The videos in the series deal with financial challenges, loneliness, anger, reconciliation, and other concerns. DVD’s feature experts, counselors, ministers and people who have faced the pain of separation and divorce. Participants will find help, hope and healing with the guidance of facilitators who have experienced divorce themselves.
