MOUNT VERNON — The Knox Community Hospital Auxiliary Spring Book Fair is scheduled for Friday at 7:30 a.m. in the third-floor meeting room of the hospital.
Proceeds from the sale will benefit the KCH Auxiliary. The auxiliary supports many programs which help the community.
Scholarships for students studying medicine are given each year. Pediatric patients who are treated in different departments of the hospital, as well as children treated at the Urgent Care Center are given toys. Funds are also needed for the Care Management program. Flowers and balloons are given to Cancer Clinic patients who have finished their treatments. Special requests are also honored.
Books and gifts can be purchased at great savings.
