MOUNT VERNON — The Friends of the Public Library of Mount Vernon and Knox County invite all chocolate “artists” and chocolate “lovers” to enter a favorite masterpiece or just come in to sample some tasty treats at the second annual Chocolate Friendzy on Tuesday, April 24, at the Mount Vernon main library.
Any edible creation featuring chocolate can be entered. Participants must deliver items for judging from 2 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, April 24. Doors will open to the public at 7 p.m. for free samples and refreshments.
Registration forms are required and will be accepted through Sunday. Forms are available at the main library, 201 N. Mulberry St. or branch libraries in Gambier, Fredericktown, Danville; or online at www.knox.net. The number of entries accepted will be limited, so early registration is recommended.
