Butler — Mohican Outdoor School, which partners with a number of organizations to get families outside, will offer its 11th Mohican Wildlife Weekend Friday, April 27 through Sunday, April 29.
The schedule for the Wildlife Weekend is as follows:
Friday, April 27
6 p.m. to 7 p.m., Welcome Reception; raffle held for many donated items. Registration for special or additional activities will only be announced at the Welcome Reception and Keynote Presentation.
7 p.m. to 8 p.m., Keynote Speaker: Scott Peters, Ohio Division of Wildlife: “Predators of Ohio.”
9 p.m., Campfire: Environmental and fun songs and stories for the family, roasted marshmallows. Overnight accommodations are available Friday and Saturday night. Call 419-938-6671 or email info@mohicanoutdoorschool.org for more information.
Saturday, April 28
9 a.m. to noon, Pancake Brunch. All you can eat pancakes and sausage, juice, coffee, hot chocolate, applesauce. There is a charge.
Activities are free of charge:
1 p.m., Family Geo caching — conservation activity
2 p.m., Puppet Show. Barbara Damron and Queenbee Puppetry
Sunday, April 29
1 p.m., Hemlock Falls Hike. Meet at the Hemlock Falls Center
