SPARTA — This weekend, the Highland High School Arts and Creative Expression Department will present “Hello Dolly” in the high school auditorium. The curtain goes up at 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
Follow the antics of Miss Dolly Levi (Stasi Culbertson) as she “meddles” in the business of Mr. Horace Vandergelder (Jesse Miller) all for the purpose of match-making. Enjoy the comedy of Cornelius Hackl (Richard Rhinebolt), and Barnaby Tucker (Justin McKenzie), as the charades of deception are matched by Mrs. Irene Malloy (Kate Rosser), and Minnie Fay (Amber Nelson). Throw into that mix the ambitious artist Ambrose Kemper (Jack Houck) and the shrieking Ermengarde (Taylor Winslow) with a support cast of crazy mischief and fun and you have a delightful evening of stage magic. Come and support the arts as young and old, alumni and friends, mothers and fathers, families and staff members combine their individual talents and skills to create an atmosphere of fun, excitement and energy all for a common cause of creating a memorable stage presentation.
Tickets can be purchased at the door on the day of the show, starting an hour prior to the show. For more information contact Joseph Bell, Highland High School at 419-768-3101.
