MOUNT GILEAD — The newly formed Whetstone Landowners Association will host a Utica shale oil and gas informational meeting Thursday at 7 p.m. at Mount Gilead High School. Personnel will be available at 5:30 that evening to assist landowners with the completion of membership agreements.
The Whetstone Landowners Association is a nonprofit association of principally Morrow County landowners whose mission is to educate, prepare and assist landowners with oil and gas leases; which includes maximizing and protecting landowner interests while benefiting the community. Landowners in the western townships of Knox and northern townships of Delaware are also invited to attend this meeting.

Mount Gilead High School is located at 338 Park Ave., Mount Gilead.
