MOUNT VERNON — The First Annual Federation of Mount Vernon and Knox County will host the Stephanie Sprang Memorial Scholarship Golf Outing on Saturday, June 16, at Hiawatha Golf Course in Mount Vernon. Rain date is June 23. The format is a four-person, shot gun start. There is an entry fee, which includes golf, cart, food and soft drinks. Other beverages will be available for purchase. Trophies will be awarded to the first-, second- and third-place teams, plus to each first-place team member. There will also be a silent auction from 3 to 5 p.m., a 50/50 drawing and raffles all day.
