HOWARD — The East Knox Wrestling Clinic will be held at the East Knox High School gym on two dates: Thursday, June 28, from 1 to 5 p.m. for students entering grades K through 7 in the 2012-13 school year; Friday, June 29, from 1 to 5 p.m. for students entering grades 8 through 12. There is a fee.
The clinic will feature Colt Sponseller, a four-year letterwinner and NCAA qualifier at The Ohio State University. Sponseller, a graduate of West Holmes High School, was a three-time Ohio high school champion, the NHSCA National High School Seniors wrestling champion, the 2006 National Juniors Champion at 152 pounds in 2006 and the NHSCA High School Wrestler of the Year. He was the 2010 Big Ten runner-up, and a 2008 and 2012 Olympics qualifier. Entry forms are available at the East Knox High School office.
