FREDERICKTOWN — Refresh your relationship with “Couple Talk,” a class that focuses on the skills of communication, conflict resolution and commitment care. “Couple Talk” begins Tuesday, Oct. 9, and runs for four consecutive weeks from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the TouchPointe Marriage and Family Resources classroom in the former Fredericktown High School, 117 Columbus Rd.
Class facilitators, Dan and Barb Humphrey say, “Marriages tend to drift over time, and no boat ever drifted up stream! We think nothing about going to a doctor for a check up or taking the car in for an oil change, so, why not consider refreshing and deepening that couple relationship?” Classes are open to anyone in the area and can be of benefit to couples in any stage of life from pre-marital, to newlyweds, to those balancing work and kids, to empty nesters.
TouchPointe’s goal is to help create healthy marriages, healthy families, and healthy communities. It is a recognized 501 c 3 non-profit organization that provides classes and mentoring facilitated by trained volunteers. Register by calling 740-485-5408 or going to www.touchpointe.org.
