MOUNT VERNON — The Knox County Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 147 will sponsor its second annual Toy Ride for The Salvation Army on Saturday, Oct. 27.
All motorcyclists and all brands are invited to help raise money and toys to help local families in Knox County. All proceeds stay in the county.
The ride starts at Walmart and winds through Knox County for riders to enjoy the scenic beauty of all. Final destination of the trip is The Salvation Army on East Ohio Avenue for a chili lunch.
Riders are encouraged to donate a new, upwrapped toy starting at 10 a.m. Line up for the ride begins at 10:45 and kick stands go up at 11.
Early donations can be dropped off at Mid-Ohio Suzuki, Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki, 494 Harcourt Road, Mount Vernon. For more information, call 740-397-5272 or contact email@example.com.
