BUTLER — Mohican Outdoor School will host its Annual Walk in the Past on Saturday, Nov. 3, from noon to 4 p.m.
Those who participate will step back in time and experience life in Ohio during the early 1800s. There will be hands-on learning stations for the family: Tomahawk throwing, pioneer cooking, candle making, face painting, walk the goats, hold the rabbits, find gold and silver to barter with the trader and more. Hands-on stations begin at noon, with a musket demonstration at 12:30, hammer dulcimer music at 1 p.m., Irish dancing at 1:30, puppet show with Queen Bee Puppetry at 2 p.m., living history skit at 3 p.m., and raffle at 4.
There is a charge per family. There will be cornbread, beans, apple butter and apple cider for an extra cost. Mohican Outdoor School is at 5370 Bunkerhill North Road, Butler.
