FREDERICKTOWN — It’s a blast from the past at Fredericktown High School this weekend as it presents “It Happens Every Summer.”
A mod, hip, cool comedy set in the 1960s — move over Austin Powers — follows six lucky young women who win the chance to intern with the staff of a high-fashion New York City magazine. They find the excitement of the city, the demands of the fashion world and, in some cases, the most available men in America.
Drag out your go-go boots and mini-skirts, tie-dyed T-shirts and nehru jackets for a groovy walk down the ’60s fashion runway on Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. on the Main Stage in the Elementary Commons. Tickets available an hour before curtain.
