GAMBIER — The Kenyon College Opera and Music Theater Workshop performs “A Tour of Italy” on at 2 p.m. in the Brandi Recital Hall in Storer Hall, 105 College Drive.
Students will present musical scenes set in Italy featuring compositions by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Gioachino Rossini and Adam Guettel, among others.
Student performers include seniors Nathan Huey of Cincinnati, Madeline Jobrack of Centerburg, and Emily Spence of Needham, Mass.; juniors, Gina Rickert of Downers Grove, Ill. and Emma Sajsa of Greenwood Village, Colo.; sophomores, Melissa Carlson of Nashville, Conor Dugan of North Huntingdon, Pa. and Emilia Pazniokas of Brookside, N.J.; and first-year Mary Sturgis of Winnetka, Ill.
The Opera and Music Theater Workshop is under the direction of Jennifer Marcellana, adjunct instructor of voice.
Patricia Pelfrey, adjunct instructor of music, will accompany the presentations. This concert is free, and the public is encouraged to attend. For more information, call 740-427-5197.
