FREDERICKTOWN — The Fredericktown Christmas Walk is in need of gently used toy donations for its annual Santa’s Toy Shop sale held during the Walk, Sunday, Dec. 2. Toys, games, books, video games, sports equipment and more will be accepted (due to health regulations, stuffed animals are unacceptable).

Toys do not need to be perfect, but should be in good working condition. All proceeds generated from the toy sale will be donated to Food For The Hungry to directly support the activities of the Fredericktown Salvation Army and Fredericktown Interchurch Social Services.

Toys may be dropped off in the marked boxes at the door of the Fredericktown Free Will Baptist Church at 102 Columbus Rd., Fredericktown.

Toys will be collected, cleaned and packaged for sale by members of the Fredericktown Free Will Baptist Church this year. Santa’s Toy Shop will be held in their fellowship hall with a Christmas Store atmosphere and free Crafts 4 Kids workshops, allowing them to make Christmas presents for their parents.

“We are excited to host Santa’s Toy Shop again this year at our Church. We are close enough to the downtown Christmas Walk that we believe people will stop by and view all the different rooms we have setup with toys and collectables”, said Pastor Aaron Boggs of Fredericktown Free Will Baptist Church.

Santa's Toy Shop is an ideal spot for kids to find toys for their family, parents to purchase discounted toys for Christmas, or community members to find quality items while giving back to Fredericktown.

The Toy Shop will be open during the Christmas Walk on Sunday, Dec. 2, 1 to 5 p.m. in the church fellowship hall. Please call Pastor Aaron Boggs at (740) 501-0148 with questions or to arrange for large donation pick-ups.
