MOUNT VERNON — Celebrate “Girl Power” and the illustrious history of the Girl Scouts of America during the next Brown Bag Chat, “Year of the Girl: Celebrating 100 Years of Girl Scouts” on Wednesday at noon at the Public Library of Mount Vernon and Knox County.
Council representative Chrystal Rardin will present a multimedia program to honor the centennial celebration.
All current and past Girl Scouts of all ages are invited to attend and share stories.
The program is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served. Prizes will be given to the oldest Girl Scout, the Girl Scout with the longest active service record and the youngest Girl Scout in attendance.
