MOUNT VERNON — Due to popular demand, the Public Library of Mount Vernon and Knox County will welcome back tea lover and enthusiast Don Bovinett for an exploration into the world of tea in “Holiday Tantalizing Tea,” Tuesday, Dec. 4, beginning at 6 p.m.
Bovinett will discuss all things tea — how it should be stored, prepared and enjoyed; and how tea can increase health, relaxation and wellness. Scones and refreshments will also be featured as well as special tastings of tea mixtures. Although the program begins at 6 p.m., participants are welcome to arrive until 7 p.m. to participate in the program. Samples of teas will be available for purchase.
The program is free and open to the public. For additional information, visit the main library at 201 N. Mulberry St.; call 740-392-BOOK (2665), ext. 243; or visit www.knox.net.
