MOUNT VERNON — The Mount Vernon Players will hold its annual “Winterfest” celebration on Sunday, Jan. 13, from 2 to 4 p.m., upstairs, next to Williams Flower Shop in downtown Mount Vernon.
Winterfest is the group’s annual membership event where they play games, have entertainment and encourage guests to “find their voice” to support the arts though theater in Knox County. Food and refreshments will be served, and the event is free to the public.
There is a cost for membership to the nonprofit Mount Vernon Players. Guests are encouraged, and regular Mount Vernon Players members will be dressed as “1950’s Stars of the Silverscreen.”
The Mount Vernon Players are Knox County’s longest running all-volunteer theater organization. For more information, contact Jim Stoner, president, at 740-504-9399 or Jimstoner@kmaelectric.com.
