FREDERICKTOWN — The Fredericktown Baseball Association and Fredericktown Girls Softball will hold joint sign-ups at the Fredericktown Police Station, 182 S. Main Street, on Feb. 9 and 16 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Feb. 14 from 6 to 8 p.m. All children must bring a copy of their birth certificate, regardless if they are a first-year or returning player. All children ages 5 through 15 (on or before April 30) are eligible for baseball. All girls ages 5 through 16 (as of Jan. 1) are eligible for softball; a late fee will be added for all girls signing up between Feb. 17 and March 1. Any girl who is 12 years old as of Jan. 1 is eligible to also sign up for 16U ball at a reduced cost. Both organizations will have a fitting for uniforms at each sign up.
