GAMBIER — Mount Vernon Nazarene University will join Kenyon College for the tenth annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration Breakfast on Monday from 9 to 11 a.m. in the Thomas Dining Hall on the campus of Kenyon College. The morning will feature keynote speaker Terri Elizabeth Hubbard. Presented by the Dr. King Legacy Committee, this event is free and open to the public.

Hubbard, who co-pastors The Way of God Apostolic Church with Dewayne, her husband of 29 years, in Mount Vernon, is a licensed evangelist through the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World Inc.

Motivated by her passion for the gospel, Terri’s vision is to make the life-changing word of God available to everyone everywhere. She is a gifted bible teacher through The Way of God Apostolic Church, Brown Bag Bible Studies, Kenyon College, and Women’s Aglow, an international trans-denominational organization. In addition to teaching, Terri hosted Prayerline, a weekly telecast on WOBC TV-39 in Delaware for two years. Traveling extensively with evangelism, she is also the president and CEO of Sistafriendzz, an organization dedicated to meeting the needs specific to pastor’s wives. Terri is also anticipating the release of her first book, “First Ladies Club,” and her teaching series, “Made for Marriage: A Single’s Guide to a Godly Marriage.”

In addition to this keynote presentation, the program will include musical selections by Kenyon Gospel Choir, Mary Alice Williams, Loria Moore and the presentation of the Ariel’s Spirit of Vision Award.
