MOUNT VERNON – April First Friday, the final “winter” First Friday, is taking place Friday from 6-9 p.m. in downtown Mount Vernon. Come out and explore your local shops and restaurants.
•Science Playspace Initiative, 227 S. Main St., will feature egg science projects.
•Kudos, 15 N. Main St., will feature refreshments and art from more than 20 local artists, including some great new spring items.
•Flapper’s Bar & Grille, 15 W. High St., will feature musical entertainment at 9 p.m.
•All Around the House, 13 W. High St., and Coleman Family Gallery, 218 S. Main St., and several other downtown shops will be open for guests to explore.
“Spend an evening downtown. Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant and browse the shops for truly unique items and unbeatable customer service,” said Carrie Crouch, HCA downtown manager. “There’s something for everyone.”
