MOUNT VERNON — On Friday, WNZR 90.9 FM, a broadcast ministry of Mount Vernon Nazarene University, will partner with CES Credit Union of Mount Vernon to raise money supporting the tornado victims in Moore, Okla. All donations will go to Nazarene Compassionate Ministries and be distributed through the Church of the Nazarene in Oklahoma.
CES Credit Union will be providing lunches from 12 to 1 p.m. at both of their Mount Vernon locations: 400 West Chestnut Street, and 1215 Yauger Road. When you pick up your lunch, you can make a donation to help those who have been affected by the tornado. Checks should be made out to “General Treasurer” and marked “AMC1041.”
The WNZR Crew will broadcast live from 12 to 1 p.m. at the CES Credit Union on Chestnut Street, and will be providing updates on the relief effort.
