MOUNT VERNON — The Knox County Health Department will host a daylong sports physical clinic on Tuesday, July 11, from 8 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m. This clinic is for student athletes needing a physical exam to play school sports.
The sports physical clinic will be conducted on a walk-in basis. No appointment is necessary. Doctors Debbie Cowden and Emerson Laird will conduct the physical exams. There is a $20 fee for the exam. Insurance or Medicare will not be accepted.
Students need to bring necessary paperwork provided by the school sports program. Students are also encouraged to bring their immunization records.
