MOUNT VERNON — “Unearth A Hidden Treasure: Our Very Own Roadshow” is for anyone who has wondered if that yard sale find is really a treasure or if Grandma’s costume jewelry may be real. The program will be held Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Public Library of Mount Vernon and Knox County.

To celebrate the “Groundbreaking Reads” Adult Summer Reading Program, experts from Garth’s Auction House of Delaware will be on hand to take a look at family “treasures.” A $5 donation to Friends of the Library per item will be the cost of the appraisal, with a limit of two items per person. Participants will be responsible for their own transportation and handling of items.

All programs are open to the public. “Groundbreaking Reads” Adult Summer Reading Program registration packets and grand prize entry tickets will be available.

For more information, stop in the main library at 201 N. Mulberry St.; call 740-392-2665, ext. 243; visit www.knox.net; or email communityrelations@knox.net.
