MOUNT VERNON ó The Master Clothing Educators of Knox County are offering a free open sewing clinic on Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon at the 4-H Center, 401 W. High St., Mount Vernon.
Anyone in the community is welcome to come and learn to sew or get some help sewing. If participants have a sewing machine or serger, volunteers can help them get started if they have never used them before. Helpers can help participants with a project also. Helpers will have fabrics and machines if participants donít have either, or participants can bring their own fabrics and supplies.
Any questions may be directed to Vicki Bechtel at 740-694-1363, Judy Foster at 740-694-1228, or Lily Haws at 740-397-5397.
