MOUNT VERNON — Charles E. Daugherty, 91, of Mount Vernon passed
away Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2004, at the Country Court Nursing Home. The
Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Esther Hoberg Hough
COSHOCTON — Esther Lura Hoberg Hough, 88, of 734 Elm St., Coshocton,
died Jan. 5, 2004, at the Coshocton County Memorial Hospital.
She was born June 10, 1915, to William E. and Phrona (Fry) Tish. She was employed at the former Moore’s Enamel in West Lafayette.
She is survived by five daughters, Patricia Murray, Janet Crossley and Edith Laughlin, all of Coshocton, and Gloria Murray and Julie Dobbins of West Lafayette; four sons, John Hough Jr. and Roger Hough of Fresno, Robert Hough of West Lafayette and Carl Hoberg of Coshocton; 37 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Russell A. Hoberg, whom she married June 4, 1932, he died Nov. 11, 1944; her second husband, John V. Hough, whom she married Feb. 22, 1947, he died Sept. 1, 1992; five grandchildren; three brothers; and two sisters.
Funeral will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw with the Rev. Ron Davis officiating. Burial will be in the Tiverton Cemetery. Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. and until service time on Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
