MARENGO — Kevin D. Bean, 37, Marengo died unexpectedly Sunday afternoon, March 14, 2004, at his residence.
He was born Nov. 23, 1966, in Medina to Dale and Ethel (Booth) Bean.
He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Patricia Bean; brothers, Tony (Angie) Abrams of Antrim and Wesley (Jill) Bean of Salesville; sisters, Kathy (Chuck) Todd of Byesville, Tonya (Bill) Sexton of Jacksonville, Fla., and Stacey Abrams of Old Washington; grandparents, Earl and Pauline Bean of Cambridge; his stepmother, Donna Bean of Antrim; his mother-in-law, Verna Wrobel of Wheeling, W.Va.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may call Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, Ohio 3 at 61, Sunbury, where funeral will be Thursday at 10 a.m. Pastors Michael Bratten and Lloyd Huffer will officiate. Committal service will follow in Antrim Presbyterian Cemetery.

CENTERBURG — C. Marilyn Jose, 72, of Centerburg died Saturday, March 13, 2004, at Mount Carmel/St. Ann’s Hospital in Westerville.
She is survived by a daughter, Linda (Neil) Moreland; granddaughters, Carey Kayser and Kim (Derek) Ratliff; a great-granddaughter, Alexis Ratliff; and two sisters, Avonell Hickman and Meryl Hatfield.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gail Douglas; her parents, Roy and Ina Hatfield; three sisters, Bonnie Shark, Ruth Gilliam and Elmy Riddle; and two brothers, Earl and Beryl Hatfield.
Friends may call Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Hill Funeral Home, 220 S. State St., Westerville. Funeral will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Centerburg Church of Christ, Ohio 3, Centerburg. Pastors Fred Albrecht and Roger Crego will officiate. Interment will be in Blendon Central Cemetery.
Dory Dale Leedy Jr.
ZANESVILLE — Dory Dale “Doc” Leedy Jr., 58, of Zanesville, formerly of Fredericktown, died Sunday, March 14, 2004, at his brother’s residence in Coshocton County.
He was born April 19, 1945, in Knox County to Dory Dale and Mary Louise (Hatfield) Leedy Sr. and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Doc was an avid motorcycle enthusiast and participated in the Harley Davidson Association of America.
Surviving are the mother of his children, Etta Leedy of Sunbury; his son, Travis (Denise) Leedy of Sunbury; three daughters, Tammy (Scott) Clements of Davenport, Fla., Lucinda (Doug) Potter of Centerburg and Lynette (Jim) Gronek of Sunbury; eight grandchildren; his brother, Daniel Alan Leedy of Coshocton; and three sisters, Mary Ann Cammuse of Martinsburg, Berry Jean Alberts of Mount Vernon and Lori Sue Gearheart of Gambier.
Friends may call Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, where funeral will be Thursday at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Union Grove Cemetery near Gambier.

Lewyer LeRoy Snider
Lewyer LeRoy “Jack” Snider, 82, of Zanesville passed away March 13, 2004, in Asheville, N.C., after a sudden illness.
The youngest of 19 children, he was born Feb. 3, 1922, in Walker, W.Va., to his parents, William H. and Martha B. (Metcalf) Snider.
Graveside service will be held Thursday at approximately 1:45 p.m. in Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens.

E. Eugene Nelson
NEWARK — E. Eugene Nelson, 79, of Newark died Monday, March 15, 2004, at Licking Memorial Hospital in Newark.
He was born April 13, 1924, in Simpson, W.Va., to Oscar and Addie (Trader) Nelson. Prior to retirement, Mr. Nelson was a steel worker for Kaiser Aluminum. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He is survived by five sons, Ronald E. (Mary) Nelson of Galena, Roger L. Nelson of Warsaw, Jerry C. Nelson of Newark, Daniel R. (Cheryl) Nelson of Glenford and Timothy O. (Lisa) Nelson of Mount Vernon; 15 grandchildren, Scott, Shawn, Alissa, Roger, Brian, Tonya, Chad, Jeremy, Wes, Scott, Brittany, MacKenzie, Rachelle, Kyle and Terry; five great-grandchildren, Abby, Andrea, Courtney, Caitlin and Chase; one sister, Ruth Taylor of Simpson, W.Va.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy (Martin) Nelson, whom he married on June 16, 1946, she died in 1993.
