MOUNT VERNON — Norma Jean Ray, 56, of Danville passed away Monday, May 17,
2004, at the Country Court Nursing Center in Mount Vernon.
Friends may call Thursday, May 20, from 1 to 5 p.m. in the Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 2 p.m. in Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens, with Pastor William Finnell officiating.

Robert G. Riegner
MOUNT VERNON — Robert G. Riegner, 54, died May 16, 2004, at Ohio State University
Medical Center, Columbus.
He was born March 17, 1950, in Kenova, W.Va., to Robert S. and Blanche (Chadwick) Riegner. He was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1964 and was associated with the Mount Vernon Congregation.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Deborah (Andrews); his daughters, Jessica (Mike) Bosnic and Darcy (Ryan) Long; sister, Melanie Moulder; and aunt, Sonja Spangler.
Besides his parents, his grandparents, George and Katherine Chadwick, who raised him in Columbus, preceded him in death.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, May 19, at 7 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 15 Taylor Road, Mount Vernon. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Knox County Home Health Department, 11660 Upper Gilchrist Road, Mount Vernon.

Georgiana Milligan Smith Totten
NEWARK — Georgiana Milligan Smith Totten, 87, passed away May 13, 2004,
at 6:10 p.m. at Licking Memorial Hospital, Newark, after a short illness.
She was born Aug. 30, 1916, to James and Anna (Ansel) Densmore of Crooksville. She was a nurse’s aide in Mount Vernon for many years. She moved to Centerburg after her marriage to Bill Totten Sr. She retired to Goosepond Village in Newark about 15 years ago.
She is survived by a son, John (Brenda) Milligan of Stockport; a daughter, Susan (Delvin) Doup of Wakeman; a stepson, Billy Totten Jr. of Sunbury; a stepdaughter, Pam (Denny) Foster of Mount Vernon; much loved grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and her brother, Francis (Mable) Densmore of Crooksville. She also leaves loving staff and friends at Goosepond, and her special friend, Paul James, also of Goosepond.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Cyril Milligan of Crooksville; her second husband, Jay Smith of Roseville; and her third husband, Bill Totten of Centerburg. She was also preceded in death by her parents; and a daughter, Patricia Davis Price of Philo.
There will be no calling hours or flowers. Cremation followed by a memorial graveside service will be Friday, May 21, at 1 p.m. in Eastview Cemetery, Centerburg. The Johnson-Melick-Moreland Funeral Home, Centerburg, assisted with arrangements.
She was our shining light and will be greatly missed.
