Carl E. Fesler
DANVILLE — Carl Edward Fesler, 88, of Richards Street, Danville, died Saturday,
July 31, 2004, at The Laurels of Mount Vernon.
He was born Aug. 6, 1915, in Danville to George and Mary Charlotte (Gardner) Fesler. On Feb. 12, 1942, he was married to V. Louise Webster. She preceded him in death on Dec. 26, 2001. He was a machinist, and he owned and operated his own shop in Danville for nearly 30 years. He also worked for Continental Can Co. for 20 years. He was a member of St. Luke Catholic Church in Danville and the Knights of Columbus 910.
Carl is survived by a daughter, Barbara (G. Steve) Hughes of Boardman; two sons, David Fesler of Arlington Heights, Ill., and Larry Fesler of Trabuco Canyon, Calif.; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents and his wife, Louise, he was preceded in death by a brother, Otto Fesler.
Calling hours will be Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Fesler Funeral Home in Danville, where there will be a 7:45 prayer service. Funeral Mass will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at St. Luke Catholic Church in Danville. Burial will be in St. Luke Cemetery.

Bob Lytle
MOUNT VERNON — Robert M. “Bob” Lytle, 83, of Mount Vernon died
Friday, July 30, 2004, at St. Ann’s Hospital in Westerville.
He was retired from Cooper Energy Services. He was a member of the Gay Street United Methodist Church and Masonic Lodge. A graduate of Centerburg High School Class of 1939, he was a veteran of World War II.
He is survived by a niece, Joyce (Stephen) Miesse-Coon of Westerville; great-nieces, Susan (Moi) Garcia, Mary (Scott) Bonner and Nancee Murphy; great-great-niece, Megan Tschakert; great-great-nephews, Mitchell and Merrill Davis; and a great-great-great-niece, Hannah Molina.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jean Lytle.
Friends may call Tuesday from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Johnson-Melick-Moreland Funeral Home, 49 W. Church St., Centerburg, where funeral will be Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. The Rev. David Baker will officiate. Interment will be in Eastview Cemetery.
James M. McPeek
BUTLER — James M. McPeek, 54, of Butler passed away Sunday, Aug. 1, 2004,
at his residence. The Snyder Funeral Homes in Mount Vernon are in charge of arrangements.
Justin L. Romans
MARENGO — Justin L. Romans, 15, of Marengo died Thursday, July 29, 2004,
at Children’s Hospital, Columbus, from injuries received in an accident
on Morrow County Road 21 near Marengo.
He was born May 2, 1989, in Mount Gilead and would have been a freshman member of the Highland High School Class of 2008.
He is survived by his parents, Donna K. (Romans) and Chris Thompson of Marengo, and Ken and Michelle Brush of Columbus; a half sister, Nicole Brush of Sunbury; grandmothers, Dovie Romans of Marengo and Brenda “Sami” (William) Payne of Sunbury; a grandfather, Kenneth (Debbie) Brush of Columbus; great-grandparents, Leslie Romans of Marengo and Ruth Tomlinson of Sunbury; and many aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Jacob in 1993 and Caleb in 1999.
Friends may call today from 5 to 8 p.m. at DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, Ohio 229, Marengo. Funeral will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Marengo United Methodist Church Family Life Center. Interment will follow in Marengo Cemetery.
